Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of Vendoo, a mobile application that connects people looking for vehicle parts in Algeria with sellers who have them, and that helps drivers find and book a contrôle technique (CT) inspection.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Vendoo.
Publisher: [legal entity name and registered address] Contact: in the app, under Profile → Help → Contact us.
1. Who may use Vendoo
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- You must be able to enter into a binding contract under Algerian law.
- You must not be suspended or removed from Vendoo by us.
2. Your account
- You register with an email address and a phone number. We send a one-time code by SMS to confirm the number belongs to you.
- You choose a role: client (you are looking for parts), seller (you supply them), or inspection centre (you carry out contrôle technique).
- Keep your password and your phone confidential. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- The details you give — your name, your wilaya, your vehicles — must be accurate, and you must keep them up to date.
3. What Vendoo is, and what it is not
Vendoo is a place where offers are made and conversations start. We are not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, store, ship, warrant or guarantee any part offered through the app, and we do not carry out any inspection ourselves.
The contract for a part is between the client and the seller. The contract for an inspection is between the driver and the centre. Payment, delivery, collection, invoicing, returns and warranty are matters between you and the other party.
We verify some accounts and mark them with a badge. A badge means we have seen a document; it is not a guarantee of quality, honesty, stock or price.
4. If you are a client
- Describe what you need honestly, and post photos of the actual part or vehicle where you can.
- The vehicle details you attach to a request — make, model, year, VIN, plate — are shown to sellers so they can tell whether a part fits. Only add what you are willing to share.
- Accepting an offer is a commitment to go through with the deal on the terms agreed. Repeatedly accepting and abandoning deals may lead to restrictions.
- Requests expire after a period set in the app; an expired request stops receiving offers.
5. If you are a seller
- Only offer parts you actually have, or can actually obtain within the time you state.
- Describe condition and origin truthfully. New must mean unused, and original must mean made by or for the vehicle manufacturer. Passing an aftermarket part off as original is grounds for immediate suspension.
- The price you quote is the price you will honour, including any delivery charge you have stated.
- Honour an offer once the client accepts it.
- You are responsible for your own tax, invoicing and any licence your activity requires.
6. If you are an inspection centre
- Your listing — address, opening hours, posted prices, the vehicle types you are licensed for — must be accurate and kept current.
- Posted prices for contrôle technique are regulated. Publish the regulated price.
- Honour the appointments you accept, or cancel them in good time through the app so the driver can rebook.
- You must hold, and keep valid, the licence your activity requires. We may ask for it before granting a verified badge, and we may withdraw the badge or the listing if it lapses.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post — photos, descriptions, messages and reviews.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and adapt that content only as far as necessary to run Vendoo: to show your request to sellers, to deliver your message to the other side of a chat, to show your review on a profile, to make thumbnails, and to keep backups. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made in backups and for content the other party needs to keep a record of a completed deal.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anybody else's rights.
8. What you must not do
- Post anything unlawful, stolen, counterfeit, or subject to a recall.
- Offer or request parts whose sale is restricted or prohibited under Algerian law, including safety-critical parts you are not permitted to supply.
- Impersonate anybody, or create accounts to evade a suspension.
- Harass, threaten, insult or spam other users.
- Take a conversation off Vendoo in order to avoid our rules, then use the app to find more people to do the same with.
- Post reviews you did not earn, trade reviews, or pay for them.
- Scrape, copy, or bulk-extract listings, prices or user details.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or attempt to reach data that is not yours.
9. Reviews and ratings
- Review only people you actually dealt with, and describe your own experience.
- One review per person, per counterparty; editing it replaces it.
- We do not remove a review simply because it is unflattering. We do remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, invented, or a personal attack.
- Sellers and centres may reply once to a review. The reply is public.
10. Subscriptions and payments
Vendoo is free for clients.
Sellers and inspection centres may need a subscription to stay listed. Where that applies:
- New accounts get a free trial period, shown in the app.
- Payment is by bank transfer (CCP, BaridiMob, or a bank account we publish). You upload the receipt in the app and an administrator reviews it, usually within one working day.
- Your subscription starts when the receipt is approved, not when you send it.
- If a subscription lapses there is a short grace period, after which the listing stops being shown to clients. Your data is not deleted.
- Prices are shown in the app before you pay and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- We do not process card payments and we never ask for card details.
- Payments for a period already served are not refundable, except where Algerian law requires otherwise.
Optional paid placement ("featured") boosts where a listing appears in the finder. It never changes a review, a rating, or a posted price.
11. Referrals
Points earned by inviting others have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and can only be redeemed for the rewards we list in the app. We may cancel points and withdraw rewards obtained through fake accounts, self- referral, or any other manipulation.
12. Reports, disputes and suspension
You can report a user, an offer or a message from inside the app, and you can raise a dispute on a deal you have accepted.
We may review reported content and accounts. We may warn, restrict, suspend or remove an account that breaches these Terms, or where we reasonably believe somebody is being harmed. Where the breach is serious — fraud, safety, counterfeit parts — we may act immediately and without notice.
We may help two sides of a dispute reach an outcome, but we do not adjudicate it and we are not liable for it. Nothing in this section takes away your right to go to the police or the courts.
13. Availability
We try to keep Vendoo working, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may carry out maintenance. Where a change is significant and within our control, we will give reasonable notice.
14. Limitation of liability
Vendoo is provided "as is". To the fullest extent Algerian law allows:
- We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, fitment or provenance of any part, nor for the conduct of any user.
- We are not responsible for an inspection carried out by a centre, nor for its result.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or lost opportunity.
- Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
15. Ending your use
You may stop using Vendoo at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy for how, and for what happens to your data.
We may end your access if you break these Terms, or if we stop offering the service. Sections that by their nature should survive — content licence for backups already made, limitation of liability, governing law — survive termination.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Disputes fall to the competent Algerian courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vendoo after that means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, please stop using the app and ask us to delete your account.
18. Contact
Questions about these Terms: in the app, under Profile → Help → Contact us, or by writing to [legal contact address].
